EXPECTATIONS: how to be a PRO
Here are 3 simple rules that will help you succeed this year.
We will need some time to knoweach other a little better. Be patient!
If you don't understand something, ask questions!
I will be available in 6th, 9th periods and after class.
Meetings on appointment only.
I really want to help, so talk to me to get help.
GRADES
Your grades will be based on tests, homework, participation and attitude towards the class.
Homework and class participation will include individual and group projects.
Group projects are designed to make students work together.
Every member in the group will receive the same "team grade".
Students that do not participate in the group activities may be graded individually.
• Semester Grades
Semester grades are computed from the quarter grades and the final exam grade.
First (or third) quarter grade 40 %
Second (or fourth) quarter grade 40 %
Final Exam grade 20 %
• Learning Goals
In addition to learning to speak and write in French , you will develop an understanding and knowledge of cultures different from your own. Studying French will also help you inthe usage, appreciation and development of your native language.
